Branchentag Holz (timber industry day): Great feedback
Weltholz’ new products were very well received at the Branchentag Holz (timber industry day) 2017
No other trade fair can compete with the Branchentag Holz, which has developed into the information and communication platform for the timber industry. It is all about wood and wood-based materials from all over the world for B2B commerce. Visitors and exhibitors meet specialist colleagues, the most important representatives of the German timber trade and decision-makers from leading retail companies.
Once again, the Weltholz booth attracted a large audience and was well frequented almost without pause – by existing customers as well as curious passersby. Manfred Meyer, the Managing Director of Klöpferholz, together with the Weltholz Team welcomed and informed the numerous visitors about the new products from our suppliers UPM, Kebony®, Lunawood, as well as new mounting systems for terraces and much more.
A special highlight for Weltholz as the exclusive trader of Kebony®: The GD Holz “Woody Award” went to the Norwegian company Kebony for its Kebony Clear 22 x 142 mm decking in the category "Innovative Product". The product is the first and so far only modified timber product to receive general construction approval from the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (the German Institute for Building Technology) and is now also approved for load-bearing construction.
In addition, "Vision", the brand-new UPM ProFi decking, as well as Lunawood – the sustainable thermowood for terraces and façades, which defies all weather conditions – were very well received. Another addition to the Weltholz product line, our 20mm ceramic terrace tiles with a wood and stone look were eagerly anticipated and also very positively received. They go very well with our wood and WPC decking boards and enrich the design options for terraces and gardens.
The focus of the two-day event in Cologne was on individual advice, expert discussions and, of course, personal contact with loyal customers. Our conclusion: An all-round successful trade fair with many good discussions.
