Weltholz. Always up to date.

  • Roland Stoiber, COO of Resysta International GmbH, illustrated the numerous advantages of Resysta®
to the Weltholz team using the example of an impressive curtain wall in Grub.
  • Resysta® is a completely waterproof material with the natural look and feel of wood. It is made of 60%
rice hulls and is 100% recyclable. The manufacturer provides its own recycling.
  • Especially in the façade area, the material scores with its reduced thermal conductivity, which prevents
excessive heating. Its low weight of 0.6g/cm3 facilitates assembly.
  • The innovative material is suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. It is weatherproof,
UV-resistant and safe against fungi, mold and pests. No swelling, tearing, splintering or rotting.
  • Resysta's versatility also shows in terms of its surface: both the structure and color can be
individually designed, for example with the color lacquers from the Weltholz product line.
  • After visiting the curtain wall in Grub, the Weltholz team learned about the functional advantages of the
    material at Resysta in Taufkirchen.
  • Key feature: Resysta is thermoformable. This opens up additional creative freedom and an unbelievable
    variety of applications.

The Weltholz Team at Resysta

A visit to an impressive curtain wall was the first item on the agenda for the Weltholz team when it recently visited Resysta International GmbH: The façade cladding of the “GeneControl” building in Grub is made of the innovative material Resysta®, the latest addition to the Weltholz product line. Roland Stoiber, COO of the Taufkirchen-based company, held a presentation on the numerous functional advantages of sustainable natural fiber boards, which are made of 60% rice husk.

The Resysta office in Taufkirchen was next on the agenda for the Weltholz experts. There, a series of lectures awaited, which provided comprehensive information on the »green« all-rounder Resysta: The completely water-resistant material with the look and feel of fine hardwood is enormously versatile in terms of both technology and design and is as easy to work with as its natural archetype. The surface of the thermoplastic material can be finished with a variety of paints and color designs – on this topic, the Weltholz experts gained extensive expertise from the event, which continued the following day with further training.
